How many times I have heard these words over and over again? It’s a complete nonsense, even not practical among religious people unless you are a God. Not to “fall” into this category is pretty much impossible.

Here are the lists :

  • Lust, have a very strong sexual desire for someone. The problem only arise regarding to “someone”. If you are have legal right over “someone”, then is it a sin? Anyway, in any situation if you don’ work on it, you will stay virgin for the rest of your life anyway, so up to you.
  • Gluttony, habitual greed or excess in eating. Wow, that’s pretty much every fat guys. I have seen fat priests too much these days. See, it’s not even practical to the religious group too. In any case, it’s just … it’s not much, its just variation … someone might just need to taste some of that and some of this.
  • Greed, intense and selfish desire for something, especially wealth, power, or food. If there’s simply only a dictator or anarchy, which of them you want to choose? Tell me simple things, when you are on deadlines, and your family sicks, did you go to them right away, leaving your jobs? Nope? Then, you are under this category.
  • Laziness, the quality of being unwilling to work or use energy; idleness. It’s a quality and not even a sin for just being relax and doesn’t want to work. It only leads to consequences … It’s only deadly as letting a boulder crushes you, simply a suicide.
  • Wrath, extreme anger. Do you kill people in this state? I doubt it. People can get too much anger with no reason.
  • Envy, a feeling of discontented or resentful longing aroused by someone else’s possessions, qualities, or luck. Why not? Why I can’T envy to someone else? What can I do even if I envy about them? Resentful doesn’t lead to hurting someone else directly. If not, then too many people died of this.
  • Pride, a feeling or deep pleasure or satisfaction derived from one’s own achievements, the achievements of those with whom one is closely associated, or from qualities or possessions that are widely admired. LoL, it’s just getting too much at this point. I don’t even care to defend my point.

We, all, are qualified to HELL based on these lists. I always comes up with simple thought : live a simple life, do good deeds as you can do, do no evil as you can restrain, and all of those list is just a complete nonsense that nobody will ever gonna think again.

In real life this is how the lists are interpreted :

  • Lust –> I saw someone, and I rape her (not many, if no one do that)
  • Gluttony –> I saw food, and I eat until my stomach exploded (enough is enough, just exercise to walk out of this “sin”)
  • Greed –> I work so hard and my wife is taking care of our children (normally people doesn’t neglected his own children, it’s just managing time to satisfy both jobs and family)
  • Laziness –> I resign and It solve the problem.
  • Wrath –> I throw out and break everything. Well in the end, you have to pay the damage. Simply get out of the place would be wise when you are in anger.
  • Envy –> I’m so envy I could hurt them. Then, work your way up! But of course it’s just doesn’t work if you are lazy.
  • Pride –> Simply proud of what you have done, all you achievements in life, just doesn’t count as a f” sin. I just don’t get the idea of it

Life should not be contained in dogma or paradigm or concept that useless and makes people unhappy living their life.

If Sins are All that Bad, then We are Officially Helled. {click to tweet}

Or If you are more Spiritualist rather than a Religious one, this might interest you to understand how things work and what your life’s purpose is.

I would appreciate your opinion about this matter, so that we can learn from each other better to live this life abundantly!
