Haters Always Gonna Hate

Haters Always Gonna Hate

by CS · Jan 12, 2018

Wherever we go and whatever we do, we always have to market ourselves to people. Whether you are a businessmen or an employee, people need to know what do you do and expect you to perform extraordinary.

Marketing is the hardest skill to master because it combine logic and art. This is one of a skill that can be improved by anybody only through many experiences in the field.

The core operation of a company involve in selling their products, so do movie stars. It spread over a lot of different field of works, yet a bunch of people called themselves “Marketing Gurus”.

Marketing Guru means someone who can sell anything, anytime, anywhere, right? Nobody can do that, because even though we know the marketing concept, it’s the hard work that sell the products.

There’s a couple reasons why marketing is a hard work. It’s a lot of rejections, low benefit, with moderate commission. It’s not easy to convince people that you have the best products in the world, but the advantage of being able to market products to people is that we have a lot of connection.

The more we have connections, the more easy we are in the future, because you will never know what those connections will bring to you later. It’s suggested that we maintain the connections with those people.

On the other side, in the world of marketing, there’s always gonna be haters. They don’t like your products, they don’t like how you talk, how you dress, and how you presents. It’s even useless to maintain connections with those haters.

I remember one day, a credit card marketer called my friend everyday just to say hello and talk about different products. My friend gets really angry and say bad words to him over the phone and everybody heard.

Is it his faults for calling everyday? Even though it’s really different product every time he called. This treatment also happen for a You Tuber right in their comments, a bunch of negative ones.

Since haters are always gonna be there for you, why bother them? If you believe in what you do, as Winston Churchill said “You will never reach your destination if you stop and throw stones at every dog that barks” {click to tweet}

Hit Back Harder

Hit Back Harder

by CS · Dec 29, 2017

When you get hit hard, hit back harder! Accept bad experiences as part of life learning. People tend to look for happiness, but happiness is easy to find in food, driving, playing games, talking and others.

Live day by day, step by step, take it slow, no need to rush because winning is not always sided with the fastest, but to people who enjoy the process. Take life as a basketball game, you can score few or many depends on your skill, but sometimes you can’t score because your opponents have better skills than you, but that’s all right, it only means that you need to improve day by day.

A lot of names came up about people who doesn’t give up until the end, from a religious one to a nobody, someone like Dashrath Manjhi. When his wife got sick and need a doctor, Manjhi went to a doctor in another city. To go there, he has to go miles to reach the doctor’s location, even though the city is right behind his house separated by a huge mountain.

It took him days before he could come back to his house with a doctor. By the time, he got back, his wife died already. He mourned for days, then get up and took his tools and started to make a direct path between his village and the city behind the mountain.

Literally, he has to dig through the mountain and his effort will be nothing if he gave up, because everyone didn’t believe that what he did is logical. No one actually belittle him because he had just lost his wife, but no one brave enough asked him to stop his effort.

He finished the work after 22 years works, and now people enjoy his works. Don’t ask where is the governments for these 22 years? or Why people around him not helping him? There are people who mock him after a few years work, but there’s also people who help him with tools and foods these 22 years.

Manjhi can’t mourn for the loss of his wife for 22 years, but what he did is he hit back harder than what life throws at him. We should ask ourselves these days, what can you do to make your life meaningful for the future 22 years later?

Thank You

Thank You

by CS · Nov 17, 2017

How many times do you feel grateful of your life? Think what if you didn’t the good or even bad experiences that you might not be here as who you are today. Be grateful for all the ups and downs of life because that’s why being alive is interesting.

Give thanks to all the people in your life, who stays by your side when you went on the wrong side of a life! Give thanks also for people who stays away from you when you are in a total mess, because the fact is you will never know what you could have missed if you don’t experience all that.

You can’t turn back time, but even if you can, you still do the same mess as you did before, there’s just no guarantee that you will do the right thing.

Give thanks to your parents while they don’t know how life has turn you ups and downs. They are still believe in you, they believe that you can do whatever you want to do, they are the only people who loves you unconditionally.

Sometimes, they only asks a small question, “Are you healthy?”, “Have you eat?”, “How is life?”. These questions shows you how care they are to you.

Say thank you often to people even if they give you all the negativity they can ever give to someone. The fact that people get angry with you, criticize you, say bad things to you is only proves that they care for you. If not, why would bother talking to you?

Matthew McConaughey said “Alright! Alright! Alright!”. Say the same words to all the ups and downs in life. That’s where you can be happy going through your life in this harsh world.

Mobile Gaming Development

Mobile Gaming Development

by CS · Oct 13, 2017

Mobile games are the great example of successful mobile application ranges from simple free games to paid games, of course with a lot of in-app purchases available in the “free games” for players to fasten up their mobile gaming experiences.

In-app purchases itself has been the fundamental sales of any games for decades. It’s mostly found in any games but mostly in the MMORPG games. A massive multiplayer role-playing game is the best way to make profitable in-app sales, because it involves competition among players.

Let’s say a website games like Wartune has been embedded their in-app purchase in monthly events, and weekly events, and its getting costly for players to get even catch up with the big shark players of the game.

In-app purchases makes a player stays ahead in the game and also make game challenges easier and satisfactory. But is it going to beat the revenue of game’s platform like PS4, X-Box, and Microsoft? I surely doubt that.

So how much the cost to build a mobile app? Kinvey said at the average of USD 270,000 per app which can be developed in 7 to 12 months. The most expensive mobile games among them are Clown Punching game (USD 300) and Gun Bros Apathy Bear (USD 600), which is totally not worth it to purchase. With that amount of money, you can get few awesome games with lower prize.

With that being said, there are a few pros and cons of mobile games compared to other platforms.

Pros :

  1. Despite the fact that they are games in Mobile Phone with lesser graphic than other platform, it is actually still has it’s edge on the excellent graphics and sound, but of course there are bunch of worst graphic games which i rather not say.
  2. It has pretty much simple control for more challenging games, and easy game controls. As such in shooting games like Gangstar New Orleans, it use pretty much perfect auto aim.
  3. They are cheap and low cost but still fun and satisfactory to pass time or to build character over time, such as Blades of Brims and Pro Evolution Soccer Club Manager which you don’t have to be there everyday to do the game but simply do it when you have time.
  4. As many other games, some mobile games can be very addictive, and there the in-app purchases offer is there for you to engage.
  5. It has the multiplayer also, league, and leaderboard which extend the game further which are very great for competitions.

Cons :

  1. Mobile Games are very easy to dismissed by the Developer, I have 4 to 5 games that i play consistently and someday the developers “SADLY” stop its production, meanwhile I already “invested” in the game with my in-app purchases.
  2. Some game difficulty is inconsistent, easy games are great, but going to a dungeon with same level enemies as the characters and still die is unthinkable.
  3. There is some problem with mobile screen for finger sweeps, a fps game with manual shooting is hell for mobile game, but even with other type of games, sometimes we missed the finger placements.
  4. Some levels are repetitive and you have to use many sweep tickets for obtaining a lot of resources for upgrades which pretty much unbelievable took time if you do manual grinding.

Mobile gaming has low cost development rather than any other platform games, yet it has provide gamers with easy and great value even though the control is not as comfortable as console or PC gaming as an example.

But any video games has very great opportunities to grow no matter what platform they were, and selling video games is one of other thing people do to make money out of this enormous games developments.
